Ráckeve is situated at the southern region of the Csepel-island, 40 km south of the capital, Budapest. It can be either approachable from Transdanubia by car on the M0-highway, from the direction of Szigetszentmiklós or by ferry, running between Adony and Lórév. From the east Ráckeve is accessible from the Road 51 through Kiskunlacháza.

It can be also approachable from the main road of Csepel-island or by local train, departing from Közvágóhíd, Budapest, approximately every hour.
